The 2017 Holiday Home Tour is just around the corner!
Mark your calendars and plan to join us for what is fast becoming a favorite holiday tradition in Colorado Springs – tour elves have been busy for weeks, and soon the houses will be ready for their big reveal …
In the meantime – here’s a sneak peak at what’s in store:
Built in 1899, the home at 1823 N. Cascade Avenue bore the scars of a tired 1970’s-era renovation. An award-winning renovation restored this home to its previous glory and added modern-day functionality.
A former Vice Mayor lived in the Craftsman-style home at 1832 N. Cascade Avenue. You’ll want to see the room adorned with vintage American flags – some dating back to 1859 when Oregon joined the Union!
The majestic estate at 126 W. Del Norte Street once belonged to the Appelt family, owners of the largest ranch in Colorado east of the Rockies.
The decor of 1410 N. Tejon Street reflects the owners’ diverse and eclectic backgrounds and tastes. Beautiful antiques mingle with contemporary art, including a parlor grand piano and a collection of Broadmoor Academy paintings and prints.
